After striking out earlier in the evening at Men's Gallery, I thought it worth dropping in to Pure Platinum before it was time to head home. And what a good idea that turned out to be. No cover because I still had a stamp on my wrist from MGs, so why wouldn't you have two SC visits for the price of one?

PP was much better than MGs on this night. I took my time to get a drink - unfortunately they pour beer into a plastic cup at PP, where at MGs you get to keep the bottle. First world problem!

Enjoyed the view podium-side for a while, and then struck up a difficult conversation with a beautiful Czech girl named Mikaela. Her English wasn't great, and the noise of the club made it even worse, but it just proved a good excuse for me to move closer and take in the fantastic future in front of her. I asked her to talk me through the personal entertainment options, but she just didn't seem enthusiastic, so I passed on that opportunity.
