This place is much better than...

This place is much better than the previous review implies. There is a cover to get in ($15 -- that was the cover on Friday night), but I found the charge to be well worth it. The dancers are very friendly, and there seems to be an ethnic mix (some blacks, whites, and 1 latino that is hot). Although this place offers private booths, I don't think that you can get more than a handjob. Most of the girls will probably toss you off. However, the dancers and patrons get away with bloody murder at the stage. A lot of contact is permitted at the stage. I touched quite a lot of pussy just from tipping 1 dollar bills! I was very surprised by the level of contact at the stage. The bartenders are not very attractive, but they do let you touch their tits. If you are looking to get tossed off, this place is not bad. However, if you are looking to get major mileage for your money while at the stage, then this place is great (at least it was last night). Besides having nude women, this place has 2 other advantages: it is right next to a pool hall, and it is on the same road as Pat's King of Steaks (the original Philly cheese steak). To get to Pat's, you simply take a L out of the parking lot and go East on Passyunk. Not bad! Also, it is minutes from 95 (take a R and go W on Passyunk and follow the signs).

A word of caution: try to park as close as possible to either the pool hall or the strip club. There is a lot of street racing on Passyunk, and the top part of the parking lot can be dangerous (some of the racers fight one another, etc.). Don't let this stop you from going to Charlies -- it's a nice place. Also, there are 3 other clubs on Passyunk (and by Charlies): Venus Video, Purple Orchid, and Oasis. However, start with Charlies!
