It was my first visit ever...

It was my first visit ever to Nite Moves, around 5 pm on a Saturday. I had low expectations. My previous experiences at clubs in New York’s Capital District had generally been disappointing. So I fell into a pattern when I drove across New York State to bypass the Capital District clubs and make my strip club stop in Syracuse or Rochester.

My initial impressions were not good. A sign on the window just inside the entrance where the cover would normally be paid said “see the bartender”. So I did. There were just two patrons sitting at the stage rail interacting with a dancer on stage who in my estimation at best was a 7. When the bartender asked for a cover of $11 my doubts increased, and then declined a bit as I learned the cover included two non-alcoholic drinks. (No alcohol is served at Nite Moves as it provides nude entertainment.) I was also encouraged that they would accept the coupon on my Blackberry for a free topless lap dance, even though I had not been able to print it out.

I took my first free drink and sat at a table behind the row of seats at the stage. Looking around, I found it to be quite a comfortable club. The seats were comfortable, the decorations pleasant and appropriate, and no distracting TV’s near the stage. A quick trip to the mens’ room revealed that it was clean and well maintained.
