First time in a California club...

First time in a California club in a few years. I used to frequent high end clubs in Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, etc on business trips. Don't go out of town anymore and Cali clubs seemed so bogus. But I thought I'd see what was out there today and decided to check out California Girls on Harbor in Santa Ana. I was very pleasantly surprised.

As others have noted the neighborhood's not real great but I felt comfortable going in around 4:00. I work nearby at 6:00 so I saved the cover fee by entering before before 6:30. I guess they had a fatal shooting there a while back and every patron gets a pat down before entering. There's a one drinking minimum so I opted for a six dollar Coke (no booze at full nude clubs).

The place is fairly small, with rows of comfy chairs circling the stage. Only one dancer performs at any given time, and at this time of day there's some dead time between girls. The ladies weren't all top shelf but I like variety and they have that- black girls, blond silicone queens and sexy Latinas. Some girls were fully tatted up while others were pure white bread "girl next door" types.
