Let me start by saying I...
Let me start by saying I love Gentlemen's clubs and I am lucky enough to have frequented some of the finest this great nation has to offer. I was immensely dissapointed with my trip to The Diamond Mens Club. This place really has great potential but it must fine tune its etiquette before even stepping into the realm of other top notch establishments. The layout and appearance are quite nice, bar area, stage, lighting, seating, vip etc...all very tastefully appointed. Well priced drinks and drafts. This place was very crowded...i attribute this to the other clubs in town being under rennovation or changing ownership. However, the dancers interaction or lack of is appalling. Don't expect to have a conversation or even a few words with a dancer. Go knowing that you will be sipping a drink and talking to whomever you came with. If you decline a dance, be prepared to get a very cold shoulder and maybe a dirty look as i experienced on at least 3 occasions. The dancers walk around incessantly, stopping only to rudely ask for a dance, say no and they are gone, off to the next sucker.... what a turn off!...Don't get me wrong i love dances and am always more than equipped in the green department. I really felt loosy each and everytime i was approached/assaulted for a dance. The gentlemen I attended with and myself were curtious, friendly, and well dressed. Althouhg these qualities are appreciated in other clubs, DMC didn't seem to care. We all know that these girls are there to make a living but come on, can't they just pretend?....a little. If a dancer sits down for just a song and shows an inkling of interest in what I have to say I am always willing to get several dances and usually a VIP room session. The whole attitude here is smug and unfriendly all around. Again i have been to New York City, Vegas, Tampa, Miami, Canada, and so on. This place really takes the Shi#cake for me. I think that anyone who has come to this place leaves feeling used and degraded. This is my 3rd stop in Cleveland, and my last trip to the DMC. Last time here i went to Christes Cabaret and had a great time, highly recommend them. Wait awhile to go there because it is being rennovated, but once its done, get ready because it is truly one of the best stops in the Midwest. I can't imagine the DMC wil be around much longer once Christie's gets back on it's feet. If you want to be treated likely a lowly scumbag loser, go to the Diamond Men's club, they will surely be able to take care of this effortlessly. By the way the girls are rather attractive at the DMC, 6-8's, i just find it a real shame that they haven't figured out how to treat their customers. I don't blame this attitude soley on the employees either, it is quite clear that management has directly imposed these orders on its dancers, bartenders, and servers...why? who knows...This may seem like a rant but it is nothing but truthful observation. This place is a disgraceful bleimish on high class gentelmens clubs. Learn to treat people decently. Smiles go a long way especially in this business.
