Now’s the time to become a dancers regular customer at Scores, Detroit.

Why? The place is struggling to get a foothold. I’ve been there on two different days recently (Thursday and Monday, arriving about 5:30 and staying until 7:30 or so) and both times I overheard several employees talk about small number of customers; each hoping the volume picks up. So, now is the time to become a dancer’s regular customer before there is competition.

Layout. It’s a 2 story new construction building on the south side of 8 Mile Rd., just east of Mound. The first floor bar is near the entrance and some distance away from the end of the stage. The stage itself is loooong, If one sits at the first floor bar, you’ll need binoculars to see the otherr end of the stag. There are small round tables with padded chairs on both sides of the stage; these are free to sit at. There are 2 levels of booths on both sides of the bar. There are a bunch of televisions that are on the walls of the entire building.
