Having not been to flashdancers NYC...
Having not been to flashdancers NYC in over a decade I was curious to see how it was nowadays. The old flashdancers was borderline seedy, much in tune with peep show atmosphere of the old Times Square in NYC, but like Times Square, this strip club has cleaned up and is more businessmen and tourist friendly. Went on a weekday evening, cover was $20 and required a one drink minimum. Drinks were expensive, ie $11 diet cokes. I was advised by a friend not to use a credit card, as the club adds a 20 percent charge on ur tab. Now, the layout of the club was nice and spacey, plenty of stages and booths. The leopard pattern carpeting was tacky. There is a nice sushi restaurant, but seemed pricey. The main plus for flashdancers is the dancers, for a NYC club there was a large rotation of girls which were mainly European/Russian, Spanish, Asian and black. Most were in the 6-7 range. Dances were rather tame ranging from air dances to low mileage. Did not go VIP. This place is good if u were entertaining clients on a corporate account. Overall decent for NYC, not one of the best I've been too. FYI there is a steak and shake burger place next door which was actually pretty good
