Really? If you have not personally experienced Adelitas you will truly find it nearly impossible to believe. This is truly the Ultimate Strip Club.

Arrived San Diego on a Saturday night with a plan to experience this place. I was a rookie and was going with a salty veteran of visiting for years and years.

Important note - as of September 27, 2013, the pedestrian walkway crossING the border changed dramatically. I read a review mentioning this, but it is REALLY important information. If you follow your old method of crossing (as directed by the salty vet), you will triple your walk and this walk has major changes in elevation. Here is the can't miss instructions. Use your Garmon or other navigation to locate the Jack in the Box just north of the border. Go there. From there you will see a couple public 24 hours parking lots. Park there. This will save you 1/2 mile of hard walking. Everyone knows to tell the taxi driver "Adelitas $5". They will try to encourage you to go somewhere else. Hong Kong is fine, but do not go anywhere else. HK and Adelitas are safe. They do a great job of keeping it this way.
