Well, I have been going to...
Well, I have been going to SR for about 5 years now whenever I go to Vegas. Locals get in for free, out of towners have to pay a cover which varies anywhere between $30 and $50. After you pass the cashiers booth on the way in two big doors lead to the main stage. On the very left there is a small area which opens after 10pm with a dance stage, VIP , and curtained couch bottle VIP curtained off room ( $1500 for an hour area) with a small bar. Girls will hang out at this bar after 10 pm or so. But when you first walk in, it's pretty dark, and girls dressed in thongs and bikini tops will immediately hustle you. So watch out! Because they can see you, but unless your eyes can adjust pretty fast to the very dark entrance you can't see them. I once made the mistake of getting a dance right off the bat with one of these girls that had a great looking body, but next day her face was hideous (lots of make up, looked like a racoon). Anyway back to my latest visit. After fending off the tough sell/ hustle at the entrance you make your say to a stand-up bar on the right and main stage on the left. On the main stage there are anywhere from one to three girls dancing on it. After midnight the girls on it are pretty sexy, really into dancing to the DJ toons. The dancers on the main stage move from the main stage to the smaller go- go type stages to the area behind the main room. So if you see one you like on the main stage you can ask them for a dance when they go to one of the go go type dance stages if you are not sitting by the main stage because most of these tables are taken. Behind the main stage where the go go stages are located, there is another sit down bar, bigger than one up in the first room. AT This bar many of the dancers will get a drink or something to eat before they start working. Meantime there is always a bunch of dancers walking around hitting up patrons for VIP dances who sit at the many tables. But I have found that if you go there by yourself and sit at a table or even a chair, or a booth with no one in it ,management will ask you to leave when a "group comes in". Some areas are empty. I sat at table in this one area for about ten minutes, ordered a drink then a manager shows up (there are a lot of "managers" in this place) and asked me to leave unless I ordered a bottle. I said no one is here (I had an excellent view of the main stage), he said it was going to get filled up pretty quick. So I moved , then I was moved again, and later again. So this place has an attitude. Next I found a girl that I liked and she did a few dances for $20. Always check them out before you VIP. She said the right words and I said let's do the three for $100, in the mini VIP room. That is another thing they have 3 for 100, VIP, and Champaign Room and the aforementioned $1500 curtained off private bottle rooms. Well I found that the 3 for 100 doesn't exist anymore. The dancer told me SR lost a major lawsuit, and all the girls are now contract employees or some such BS. She told me it's now a two dollar drink minimum, which before it was just three dances for 100. I said ok, but for that kind of money I would rather spend 200 for half an hour. She said , well that's a 2 drink minimum (did I mention that a two drink minimum is $35 total? that's $17.50 per drink, that's a lot for a beer from where I come from). Well for the half hour it's 200 plus the two drink minimum, I am not done, PLUS A $11 room rental fee. Only it's not a room, it's an area with booths. So I said WHAT? Now for big spenders this isn't much, but I am a working man. She then hustled me and said let's do an hour. I said, wait a minute, what would that cost me? OK i am a cheapskate, you figured it out. She said another two drink min. but no room charge. She did do a great lap dance, I must admit. On the way out she says how about a tip for the bouncer, $20. I said the bouncer did not do a thing for me !! And left, So in closing, SR is a more intimate setting than big industrial like Sapphires, but the whole place has gone to the pits with all these adder fees and extras. The girls are still hot though. There are a LOT of girls to pick from. Oh yeah, one more thing, the dance fee used to be paid AFTER the dances were done, they changed that. They now collect the total fee ahead of time.
