Having never been to a strip...

Having never been to a strip club in New Orleans for some reason I chose to go to Rick's Sporting Saloon as the first one to visit there. Went last June (2013) which is supposed to be a slow month for Bourbon Street (which for the most part it was). I was there in the evening and left before midnight.

What actually happened is they have a front part facing Bourbon Street that is an actual regular sports bar so at first glance I didn't realize the place I was at was a strip club. I sat down at the sports bar to have a drink or two. Those drinks were actually a good deal because it was 2 for one and the price wasn't that high anyway.

After sitting there for about 20 minutes I came to realize that the back half was a strip club because of the girls going in an out of the back part who it was pretty obvious were strippers. So never having been to one in New Orleans I decided to go in and check it out. Plus there wasn't any cover that night.
