My first visit in a couple...
My first visit in a couple of years to the former home of ATF Ivy. Since then the stage has been expanded into a "T" shape at the expense of floor space- when crowded it would be tough to move. Stage show is good. LD's still in spartan surroundings on hard chairs. I don't mind the trade-off of an open LD area, where you don't have privacy but you do get a preview of the other dancers by keeping your eyes open. It's hands-off, so hold onto the chair if you're used to more liberal clubs down the Parkway. Given that restriction, mileage is good.
The dancer quality seemed a little higher than I remember, with more home-grown talent, less eastern European and South American, but one visit doesn't prove it.
Since it was daylight, I noticed all the cars parked at the bowling alley entrance, not at the club entrance. You never know who might drive past on Route 22 looking for where their old man is hanging out.
