Walked in on a whim while...

Walked in on a whim while on the block one day as the bouncer was advertising free cover. Before I got in the door, fellow bouncers were already giving me hell. After getting in, having my ID checked, and being thoroughly patted down (while expected, it was odd that they had not patted down 2 persons entering prior to myself), I was not even in the door 30 seconds before being pressed by the bar staff to buy a drink (usually a sign of an overstressed staff who is pressured to sell drinks to as many persons as possible to keep the club affloat).

The club is larger than most others on the block, leaving a lot of room to move around. Though, on a slower night, this can give the appearance of a club that is not as busy. I suspect this happened to be a case of the time I was there. However, from prior experience, when clubs get packed, it can lead to a very bad experience intermingling with the crowd while trying to enjoy yourself.

The girls, bartenders, bouncers, staff, and patrons were all black. Not sure if this bothers anyone, but don't expect to much variety in what you will see (or, what you will hear, for that matter).
