My wife and I were first time visitors to the Foxy Lady. We visited this club at around 10pm on a Friday night. Our goal is to explore the RI club scene in hopes we can find couples-friendly clubs in our area that are similar to the ones we have been to in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, we agree that this isn't the one for us, but it was still a decent experience.

We used the valet service to park our car which, for $3, was well worth the cost. While walking to the door of the club, we saw the smoking patio which is a nice touch if you are a smoker. Upon entering, there were three burly doormen who had us empty our pockets and go through the metal detector. One thing I'll say about this club is that it has very prominent security. Bouncers are everywhere, but we don't mind. It actually gives us a sense of safety when in a club. One of the bouncers by the stage was actually quite friendly, and talked to us occasionally throughout the night.

The club was pretty busy, so we walked by the bar and the main stage trying to find a table for two. A waitress saw that we were struggling to find a seat, and directed us to a long booth to sit at while a table opened up. After about 20 minutes, a table was available and the waitress brought us over to it. The club has more of a bar/lounge feel to it than a strip club. There were several tables of people simply drinking and not paying attention to the dancers. That said, the one thing that we noticed almost immediately is that there were very few dancers soliciting lap dances or even socializing with the crowd. We found this odd, since the clubs we have been to before always had at least a few dancers walking around. We actually like when dancers stop by and chat for a minute, and we didn't find this at all at this club. In fact, not ONE dancer approached us the entire time we were sitting at the table. Sometimes dancers can find it intimidating or undesirable to chat with a couple, but it wasn't just us. Hardly anyone was being approached, except by the waitresses who were very attentive.
