This was the first time I had been back since it became the "New Solid Gold". I must admit that the old "Solid Gold" was a much higher quality in terms of prices, dancers and overall atmosphere. The entrance price was 10 dollars and then a 5 dollar coke was required to be bought. There are 3 stages and only 2 would be used at any one time which is only a recent development. Since the club changed to bikini in order to serve alcohol, it requires at least 5 dollars before the girls go topless. Once in a while someone would pay more and see more but that was very rare. I got one good dance from a slim, spinner style. She wanted 40 dollars originally for a dance with all clothes on and 60 for top off. I told her this was ridiculous and talked her down to 35 for completely nude. It took a lot of haggling and I hate to do that but she was a haggler as well. It worked out in the end, but I don't think I'll be back here anytime soon.
