There is a large wooden construction housing outside the front now. But the club is still open. The word I got when I visited is that the club is going to construct a marble front for the whole building. I was told that's only the first part of a major redo of the entire club inside. I was told it is going to remain open throughout the remodeling and one feature is that they are going to have a large dressing room for the dancers when it is all done, which should take several months. Glad to see this coming. The club hasn't been remodeled in decades and the decor is clearly dated.

Many of the girls at Camelot are some of the hottest in DC, but they make their money by sitting with customers who tip them big bucks. The girls will swarm over anyone they see handing out large tips leaving the rest of the low tipping crowd to themselves.
