I visited Dollie’s on a Thursday...
I visited Dollie’s on a Thursday evening around 8:00. The building is completely covered in corrugated aluminum, the parking lot is full of puddled pot holes, the entrance is difficult to find, the interior is old and run down, the cover is cheap ($3 with a two drink posted minimum--nobody was paying any attention to that), the booze is cheap ($3 beers, $6 Scotch); if you buy a girl a drink, it’s the same cost as yours; all five of the customers were old guys, all seven girls on duty were skanks; there’s no DJ (juke box), the restroom is a pit, smoking is permitted, the guy at the door is the only bouncer presence in the place (he’s constantly playing on his phone and not paying attention); the VIP is booths in the back with half-doors, half-walls, and beaded curtains; there was no stage dancing (as soon as a customer approached the stage the girl jumped into his lap); the stage lappers and table lappers are very indiscreet with obvious stocking and fingering and it’s assumed that you have come for the extras. If you like glitz, drop dead gorgeous women and class--go elsewhere; Dollie’s isn’t your place.
Dollie’s just became my favorite club! The cost of my evening was $70 for tips, drinks, and VIP extras. I left fully drained with a wad of cash in my pocket.
BTY, stop at Big Mamma’s BBQ about 1.5 miles down the road; the best ribs I’ve had outside of Texas!
