After reading all of the reviews, and on a recent trip to Orlando, I decided to make the drive to Cocoa and try out Inner Room. I'm a huge fan of Follies in Atlanta, and that was the type of experience that I was expecting.

After pulling into the parking lot and walking in (no cover, no one even at the main entrance at 6 pm on a Sunday) I sat down at the bar. As soon as I sat down, a hot bartender comes over and asks what I would like, and what shot I would want, since the shot is free. I knew about this already, but that's a great way to start the night. I order a Crown and a Corona, and sit back. The talent is decent, mostly 5's and 6's, with a good ethnic mix.

About 10 minutes go by and a petite black dancer sits next to me. We start to talking, and not even 5 minutes into the conversation, she starts talking about needing money for her son, her sister was shot and killed right down the street, she's about to be homeless, etc. On the verge of begging. I say thanks for the conversation, tip her a few bucks for her time, and get back to scoping the place out.
