While in Vancouver there are not many places to go for strippers anymore compared to 10 years ago. I met up with some old buddies and went to Shakersz to have some beers and see some T&A. Compared to T-Bars it was essentially the same. $6 cover and metal detector as you walked in. For the strippers, it was the BC standard of 4 songs per dancer - 1 layer removed per song, and 2-4 songs between dancers. We came on a Saturday night from 10pm-130am and there were only 3 dancers. A redhead named Kimberly was pretty good, great outfits and song routines. There was a tall & athletic blond who was attractive but her routine was mostly on an exercise ball which made it seems like she was just exercising on the stage. The third dancer was probably the worst stripper/dancer I have ever seen. She looked used and constantly scurrying around the club as if she just had sex and was late for her next appointment. While on stage she hung out by the DJ booth for the better part of her songs. When she was "dancing" she was just grinding her ass on the pole or laying on her stomach and hoping her looks would draw the people. Even when she brought out posters nobody cared. Her looks were okay at best but she was just very very lazy. She hid her female parts essentially the entire set. The only part that she moved quickly was when her set ended and she put her clothes back on within 10 seconds. We focused on the tvs and the olympic action rather than her since she was so bad. I probably will come back since it's one of the only strip clubs around and still somehow better than the other 1-2 "nearby" from previous experiences.
