I went to Follies late afternoon...

I went to Follies late afternoon through early evening on a Friday. Things seemed fairly normal in the beginning but somewhere around 5 pm things really changed. Where did all the guys go!!! The girls were there and believe me; I had no complaints as the attention level went up as well as one other thing!! But it was interesting; I mean this is the great and busy Follies, right! Picture this, there was no one standing next to the bathrooms, no one in the bathroom when I went other than the old man, and better yet nobody standing anywhere or getting in your way!! Plus everyone had a seat and even at times a couple of the hot high chair seats along the walls where available and getting cold. Some of the girls would make their rounds and quickly end up right back at the bar, sitting!!! Then of course it hit me! This was Friday, February 14th. That’s right, Valentine’s Day. And being single and currently unattached like the dancers there, with no obligations for a dinner or night out, it was a nice change of pace. Well I am sure that most everybody is happy now that that day and night is over!!!
