A long time friend invited me...

A long time friend invited me to attend the auto show in Detroit. We have attended semi-regularly over the years, and since his shrew-bitch wife was out of town for a few days, I was happy to accept his invite to stay at his house. I flew in mid-afternoon on Friday, and suggested we hit a nice gentlemen's club and have a brew and maybe dinner. I've read this and other forums and was interested in trying out BT's in Dearborn, but my buddy was worried that there would be a high probability of seeing one of his co-workers (he works at a certain nearby auto company). Instead, he suggested that the Criket might be a suitable option.

We arrived in late afternoon, and there was no valet or cover charge. The club seemed smaller to me than it appeared from the outside, but the music wasn't so loud that conversation was impossible. The table we took was clean, there was only the hint of smoke in the air, and I rate our waitresses looks an 8, and her service a 9. As for dancers, I think we arrived near shift change but I would guess there were roughly a half dozen dancers on hand. A couple of 7's were tied up with what I assume were regulars, with the remaining one's also in the 6 - 7 range. After a brew, I hit the surprisingly clean bathroom, and on the way back almost ran into a late 30's MILFish brunette. I smiled and leaned over and made a proposal to her. She smiled back and said she would be right out. A few minutes later she came to our table and retrieved my dumbfounded friend and took him back to the VIP area.

About 20 minutes later she returned to the table, and she gave me back $20 stating he didn't last that long. A few minutes later my friend came back with the biggest shoe-eating grin on his face and said she was amazing. I wasn't present of course, but given she returned $20 out of the $150 I gave her up front, this left a favorable impression on me. Unfortunately, my buddy's daughter called with a semi-emergency before I could sample any of the dancers myself. The next time I'm in the Detroit metro area, I might just return to the Criket.
