In contrast to my awful review...
In contrast to my awful review of Saturday Night Live, just up the street, my words about Cheerleaders will be much kinder. First off, I got in free with a coupon from the Westword newspaper. Beers are about four bucks and tasty appetizers are served as well. One note about the service: it's great, but I hate it when the waitresses are cuter than some of the dancers. But it always gives me a nice feeling to get a cold beer from a real cutie, so maybe that's not always bad. I went on Friday night from about 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. and the place looked great. It was well lighted (in sharp contrast to SNL where I could barely see the face of the African American dancer), had "four" stages (stage three and four are lamely separated by a gauzy curtain) and was quite busy. I'd estimate there were 25 dancers and 25 patrons. Enough for everyone! I was approached only once for a private dance and I declined her offer as she wasn't my type. But later, a 20-year-old hottie called Fire (she demonstrated her name to me by sucking her finger seductively and then touching it to her ass with a sizzling noise!!! wow!) did some dancing and demonstrated quite a bit of contact on stage. After tipping her at the stages a bit during the usual rotations, I asked for a private and was not disappointed. Even though this "private" dance occurs at a stage just like the others in a very public area, she gave lots of contact to me above the waist and I was pleased. I suggested that she would make a lot more money if she did lap dances and she confessed that she'd like to work somewhere that offered them. I enthusiastically encouraged her to do so. Conclusion: this club is decent for a topless beer joint and a good place if you want to relax and not get hustled for extra cash. But if you want grindage and/or better looking girls, there are other choices in Denver. Go if you're in the area. It's worth checking out.
