Went to the LFHC on a Thursday over Valentines Day to see the Starr sisters. What I did not know was that the second Thursday of the month is "Taboo Thursday". I ended up walking into a scene so surreal, it is going to take me some time to recover. Apparently the entire Bondage/S & M subculture in the St. Louis area was there (imagine the bar scene in Star Wars) and they were performing. No, they weren't there to watch the dancers, they were there to have a 60 year old guy in a leather gladiator suit strap a 5'1" 250 pound woman to some sort of contraption and proceed to slow tickle/whip her for an hour. I am sorry, but I just don't get it. There were like two clubs, the front were the "normal" people watching the dancers, and the back of the club was madness. I will not return on a Thursday again.
