Had not been to St. Louis...

Had not been to St. Louis for a while (been a year or so), so was curious if Hollywood was still the same great place. Answer, mostly yes. I arrived late afternoon and stayed 4-5 hours. Great to be able to stop in during day without paying a cover. Yes, they push the drinks but it is a tradeoff. Nothing is free. If you get in for nothing you do not mind buying a couple of drinks. Several attractive girls were working but overall the quality is down. Some girls were pushy and did not want to hang out unless you indicated right away that you wanted to dance. For some customers, I am one, there is no bigger turnoff than the first question or two being "do you want to dance". I always think, I don't know, let me get to know you a little bit first and then I will decide. But I found a couple who were willing to talk a good bit before the dance topic came up. Waitresses were friendly, but the feeling changed early evening. Not sure why. Daytime seems relaxed for all. Evening is more business like. My overall opinion, a great value (no cover, $25 dances), with some very pretty girls but not as many as there were a year or so ago when I was in last.
