I'm quite happy with the newly remodeled Barrel.

The most important thing to me is the talent, and I'd say that the new owner has twice the girls and that they average half the age of the "old" Barrel staff.

As for the environment, I guess its worth the $5 cover charge (I got there at 9pm). The interior is quite different, and the bathrooms are actually decent now (if you've ever been there in the old days, you'd know what I mean).

Parking is about the same as always, but there are actually customers here now. Lots of them...and they seem to be tending to a more upscale, professional look. Lots of young women and couples, and not as many ghetto types.

I heard that the Barrel had a new website, and I checked it out. It has a few pictures of the new interior, which showcase it pretty well. I think they have drink specials, too, but none of them applied during my visit.
