Finally, at long last, got back...

Finally, at long last, got back to Polekatz after each progressive visit before it was better and better, but just didn't have business in Chicago for a long, long time. Had been looking forward to getting back to this club for a long, long time -- so much so, that I had budgeted for the visit. I was pretty sure I was setting my expectations too high and setting myself up for disappointment. I was wrong.

Checked their Facebook page before coming and they had a code word on this particular night to get in free. Awesome -- check to see if there's such a thing before you go, too (this is the only time I've ever seen Polekatz do this).

Went with the $10 parking because it was bitterly cold and I only brought a light jacket. Came in, the bouncer saw I had dressed nicely and proceeded to allow me into the VIP area. Good stuff.
