I spent the night in Fresno...
I spent the night in Fresno and was looking for something to do. I drove by and decided to stop in. The parking lot was lit well enough and there were a couple of patrons outside who weren't too shady. Upon entering, the bouncer asked for ID and a $5 cover. There was a TV mounted high with security cameras of the parking lot, so that was a plus for me since my rental car was nice.
I would describe this as a bar with some pole dances more than anything else. After passing the bouncer, the room opens up into one large space with a horseshoe bar directly in front of you. To the right are pool tables and video games, to the left is the DJ, "table dance" area, and then a large stage all the way against the far left wall. There are tables and chairs between that stage and the bar. The bar has a pole and a small stage in the center, which I really liked.
There were 4 girls working the night I was there. It looked like a couple of more were off shift and just hanging out with their boyfriends. In all reality, the place was dead and I almost left after my first drink. I only stayed because going to my hotel was the only other option. The DJ would rotate the girls, starting them on the large stage for 3 songs, then they'd move to the pole at the bar for 1 more, where they would walk around to the bar patrons for tips after they were done. Since there weren't many girls working, there was a bit of down time with no stage dances. They ended the stage dancing around midnight since I was the only patron tipping for their efforts. DJ let you know you were cheap for not throwing out a buck, but it was true and kind of funny. If you can't throw out at least $5 an hour to look at naked women, keep your hands in your pocket at home. A Jack and Coke cost $6. It was nice to sit at the bar, have a girl dance a song, and be able to watch ESPN at the same time.
