I am actually a dancer at Center Stage. I know that this is geared toward customers, not dancers, so I will try to keep my comments relevant to the customers' experience.

Center Stage is a small club, though not nearly as small as the old 418 was. I've lost count of the number of people who have told me that the old 418 was a "dive." I didn't see it before it was renovated; if I had, I probably would have turned around and walked right out.

As it stands now, Center Stage is not a dive, but not quite upscale. It lacks the details that would give it that extra "spark." It is much nicer than the other small clubs in Springfield, though. In fact, a number of the dancers are refugees from The Fifth Alarm.
