Sugar's is possibly the most laid back club in the Seattle area. That being said, it tends to be a bit slow at times. Saturday and Tuesday nights seem to be the busiest times, when I have gone. Both those nights are when they have their waitress contests. At this club, the waitresses in the contest are allowed to get fully nude, which I think is why the contests are attended so much. The contests are usually comprised of around 5 girls each doing a 1 song set on stage twice in the evening. The club management chooses judges from the audience for evaluating who they think are the best girls. There are new judges for each of the 2 rounds. The waitress with the overall top score wins $100 (which they put towards getting their dancer license a lot of the time to become regular dancers). The club has a $10 cover charge and you are required to buy 1 non-alcoholic drink for $5 for ea. hour (although I have hardly ever seen the hr drink rule enforced .. especially if you are buying dances). The lap dances usually run $20 .. however some dancers will offer some higher priced ones. Normally you can find the same type of dances for $20 from some of the other girls. The club recently remodeled and removed 1 of their stages, so they only have 1 stage now. They also added some "VIP" booths for more private dances. If you like to spend a little more time chatting and getting to know the dancers before buying dances from them, this would be the club for you.
