New York City is no longer one of the best places in the world to hit up strip clubs -- not like when I lived there in the pre-Giuliani days. But, that being said, whenever I'm back in town on business Flashdancers remains the best option. (That is, if you can't manage to get an invitation to one of the really interesting private parties that have sprung up -- although they do seem to come and go). The plusses of this club-- the easier vibe in the afternoon, less of a feeling that you are being watched by the Russian mob, and the absolute eye candy of the dancers here. There are LOTS of really hot women working at this club. The downside? The cost of the both the drinks and the dances. If you are used to clubs in other parts of the country, the prices here will surprise you. Although I went in the afternoon and the 2 4 1 drink option made it a much better deal. But the real allure of this club is really, really hot women dressed in ridiculously sexy outfits. I also like the back massage option here -- nothing better than sitting at the bar, watching a hot dancer, while a sexy women massages you.
