We will bridge the gap between nightclubs and exotic entertainment, and take a business that has been primarily focused towards men and make it comfortable for couples and women as well.”

What a good idea! A woman-friendly strip club would be great. But I wondered how they’d do it. So I took my girlfriend to Brandi’s on a busy Tuesday evening at about 10PM and paid the $9 cover for myself and noted that she didn’t have to. That’s pretty woman-friendly, but not uncommon. We then noted that Brandi's was non-smoking--also woman friendly.

Now, on a date, it's impossible to imagine a more major no-no than for the guy to disappear into the back room with a gorgeous babe to engage in a wide range of unspeakable sex acts. I don’t think this ever happens even on TV’s “Blind Date." And unless your date is bisexual, taking her into the back room with you, in the form of a couples’ VIP dance, will only make things worse. In any case, Brandi’s mission statement didn’t say anything about “bisexual women,” or “massively alternative-lifestyle couples.” So it seems that VIP dances would be out of the question in such a woman-friendly place as Brandi’s. But, au contraire, Brandi’s offers them, and its VIP girls that evening were gorgeous. Not so woman-friendly. Okay, you can just ignore them (or try to!) if you have your date along.
