First visit since it changed to...

First visit since it changed to Spearmint Rhino from the Wild Orchid. I don't know how much dancer turnover they had as it was closed for a while but my usual favorite who works the weekends wasn't there when I went looking for her. I must say the new interior is actually pretty good. The old one was really glossy and kind of cold feeling but now it's very warm and chill feeling. Definitely looks like a more upscale vegas club. Exterior and parking are still the same and drink prices/menu were pretty much unchanged as far as I could tell. The layout was still the same even though the stage was a bit lower than it used to be and they do three song sets now instead of two.

I went in the early evening and there were only two girls dancing at the time, which was weird. One was a solid 7 and the other a fair 5, not my type but could probably float someone's boat. I made friends with the hot one and tipped her well to get her interested. Now, here's where this club went from a good value to a club indistinguishable from others. They used to have two-for-ones all day if you came in before 8. No more apparently. They still don't have any real VIP rooms or private rooms, but the main floor is separated from the booths by some wide column-like walls. They're more well-lit now though, which looked strange to me. The original two are still in the same place but there are now two more booths where the second stage used to be. (Which means no more minors dancing here.) Anyway, she informs me they have "nice" dances which cost 30 and get you a booth and ok dances on the couches at the edge of the room near the booths but otherwise open. Neither involved hands, but then again, she was new and we didn't know each other. 15 for a dance is nice, but the seats were extremely uncomfortable and obviously out in the open. I didn't care because there was no one else in at the time and I wanted to see how this girl did. In a way I suppose this is their way of continuing the two for one dances, but now they're cheap.

Still a nice enough place, but the value is gone. May adjust my review if I manage to go back and see some of the girls I already know and love.
