My first stop in Canada was Private Eyes, and yes, it’s very hard to find. (My thanks to Clubtreker for directions!) It seems that a lot of the clubs in Ontario are out on the fringes of town, away from the residential areas, and this club is pretty far from the tourists. If you’re coming from the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge on the QEW, take the Glendale Ave. exit. From Toronto, take the Niagara Stone Rd. exit. Go past the fast food restaurants and take a left at the light onto York Road. You’ll then run parallel to the QEW past the welcome center. Go straight through the first light and head towards the bridge. Just when you think your luck has run out, you’ll see a sign for Route 55 and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Turn right, and the club seems to appear out of nowhere.

When I pulled in on a Tuesday night, I was surprised to see the staff offering hot dogs and drinks outside. It was the night of the All-Star Game, and the TV’s alternated between baseball and porn, a strange combination! Unlike some of the clubs in the area, there’s no membership application. The atmosphere is laid back and smoky. In fact, a girl on stage stopped dancing for a moment to take a drag on her cigarette!

After ordering a drink, I was approached by Monica, a pretty blonde with a natural figure. After a nude dance, she offered up some extras. The going rate seems to be $80 for HJ, $120 for CBJ. I talked her down a little, and while I had a good time, the whole process seemed a bit mechanical.
