I made a stop here on a Tuesday afternoon as a warm-up to the clubs across the border. The club is located off of the Thruway at exit 49 near some industrial buildings on the fringes of the Buffalo airport. The club’s layout is pleasant and spacious, and they had a 2-for-1 beer special when I arrived. (Two Sam Adams for $5?! Try getting that anywhere in New England!)

Unfortunately I can’t give this place a high mark for several reasons. The atmosphere was surprisingly dead, and the girls just hung with their regular customers when they weren’t on stage. Getting a private dance was pretty much out of the question. It’s a pastie club, not nude, and I’d have preferred to see the lovely bartender on stage than most of the dancers! Maybe I just hit the club at a dead hour, but considering what’s available across the border with just a passport, I’m surprised this place gets such high marks.
