visited Monday around 12:30PM. Plenty of free parking. Downtown location, but seems quite safe. No cover. No bathroom stooge. Dancer talent was surprisingly strong for a Monday lunch. Honestly, this lineup is better than what most clubs offer on a weekend night. They do offer a free " lunch"- more like a snack. ( 4 chix wings with rice). But that is not why we go. Lite ( cans) $4.75. friendly service. Dancers ranged from 5-9- with a skew towards the higher numbers. Leilani ( 9.5) approached me after I tipped her generously on stage.(She gave me a lot of private views at the stage. Totally bald and beautiful. ). she asked if I wanted a dance- I told her yes ( my heart was actually pounding at the sight of her), but I had to go outside to take a call at 1:30PM. As luck would have it, she was never alone after that. (This is a regulars bar- kinda like Cheer's but with topless dancers). On;y one dancer approached me while I was sitting at a table- a 5 (body better) named after an expensive gemstone. Did the 15 min $130 ( $30 to house, $100 to dancer). halfway ( 7 min) into the dance, she asked me about extras. I asked about the menu- no Frank Sinatra, but Billy Joel was available for a cover charge of .75. I declined- wanted to save my energy and nickels- so to speak. As I left the VIP room, I almost sprinted to the stage to catch a closer view of the smoke show, "Esmee", an exotic, tiny "9". (Picture a latina/Asian mix). I would love to have emptied my wallet on her. I tipped her generously. She asked me if I was going to stick around- told her a little while. but after a half hour of wishin and hopin ( and hopin and wishin), I had to leave. SO DISAPPOINTED. what a smoke show she is!( oh that's right, I said that already-lol). Many postings have referred to the phenomenon that dancers will not approach you if you are sitting alone-or very few anyway.Case in point- another cutie pie, Amari, gave me some great attention stage-side- and I tipped generously. Yet, I noticed her on a few occasions just standing in the background- like the proverbial wallflower. Never approached me. I don't like to approach dancers- but if she had approached me for a dance, I would have emptied my wallet ( among other things, but I digress). Bottom line- GREAT place to go for daytime entertainment. Top shelf talent. Relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable prices. No cover. No obnoxious DJ. I now know that you cannot go to Desire's and enjoy the full potential if you are in a hurry. It is not an LD factory, and you won't get the " wanna dance drive by". But you can find what you want, for sure, if you are patient and have time to spend to map out and execute a strategy. I cannot wait to go back.
