Since it has been about a year since my last review of "Blush", it seems that the time is right for an update. I'm glad to report that this visit was once again a positive experience, as it can be a little "hit or miss" at this club at times. Stopped in the afternoon, no cover charge (evening cover is too high here). Drinks continue to be somewhat high in price for the Pittsburgh area. However, the club is well kept, and bar tenders and waiters are friendly and fairly efficient, so there are no issues with the overall environment. As has always been the case, there is a variety of talent working here, and I tend to view variety as a good thing! My main issue with Blush continues to be their insistence on charging more for dances than the majority of the clubs in the US, and why this is the case I'll never be able to figure out. Where the price of $30 per song or the "bargain" of 3 for $79 comes from, I'll just never know. OK, the "79" is cute, wonder how many guys want that $1 back? But why it is not simply $20 per song remains a mystery to me. Perhaps if the talent was insanely better than other clubs, I could see it, but this is Pittsburgh, not Vegas or New York.

In any event, Blush continues to be an enjoyable place, a lot of fun after Pittsburgh sporting events, and a good place to stop for a little entertainment if you happen to find yourself downtown!
