Stopped by a few weeks ago...

Stopped by a few weeks ago on the rumor that an old favorite had returned but alas, said rumor turned out to be another hoax. Only three or four ladies working on this day and all were perched at the bar glued to their cell phones with little interest in doing anything else. Only one was young and the others looked to be ready for the Stripper Senior Home. Can't really comment on the dancing as none of it was taking place. Two other patrons besides me inside the club were busy nursing our soft drinks and not much else waiting for something to happen which never did. Figured I could get the same or better experience with booze across the street at the Waterwheel so decided to bail over there with one of the other dudes.

The Sands is a small neighborhood club that has so much potential but still suffers from being very poorly managed much like the joint up the street on 85th. There are few if any customers at any given time inside, mainly due to the fact they can't attract many quality dancers to work here. Every time I go in, the place just shows less and less activity. Wouldn't be surprised to see it shut down in the next few tears.
