I went to Charlotte for a Saturday night. I'm from the Greensboro area and I thought I would check out a couple of clubs in Charlotte. I hadn't been to any there in a couple of years. I got to the Uptown late, around midnight. The place was packed. In fact it was standing room only, which is a bad thing in my opinion. I couldn't get close enough to a stage to check out the girls. The club really is a little small for a big city venue. Beer was pricey though as to be expected - around $5 for a beer. I had been to another club earlier in the evening, Rick's Cabaret. The place was more spacious and had some good looking girls. It was just getting busy though when I left to come here to the Uptown. Since I wasn't really all that thrilled with the place, I packed it in and headed back to G'boro. I'll probably just stick to Chester's from now on. I might make a trip to Wilmington though, and check out what's happening there.
