Things have changed at the LA...

Things have changed at the LA grand. The main thing is that the entry fee is different. I walked up and plunked my 8 bucks down on the counter and the guy at the counter just looked at it and at me. It was then that I found out that it was now 10 bucks. So I came up with the difference. You would think that the increase in fees would mean an increase in value, but you would be wrong. As I walked toward the ballroom, I could see that the situation was piss-poor. Maybe seven or eight aging and mostly obese dancers were sitting on the front couch. Not a prospect in the bunch. Perhaps there might be someone presently on the floor that would check out and give me some hope for a good time. That was not to be, however. A couple of girls came off the floor but they were no better than the rest. After 20 minutes of patiently waiting, I walked out. So things have changed, but unfortunately for the worse. Much worse.
