In town on business trip, decided to check out the Rhino.

The street where the spot is located is super-desolate at night. The club is just about the only thing within eyeshot that is open. Did it feel unsafe? Not really, since there was simply nobody -- menacing-looking or otherwise -- outside the parking area of the club, which is well-lit and attended by valet. There was a $5 parking fee, which I guess is not unheard of as these things go, and a $30 cover.

The club itself is smallish-medium sized, with lighting a bit on the dark side, but not so much as to be a challenge. One stage in the center of the room, with semi-private lap dance dance spaces behind the stage, and a few VIP rooms along the side walls. On this particular night, a weekday night a little before midnight, the crowd was light -- maybe 10 customers. And there were about 10 dancers or so on the floor at any one time, so from the moment you sat down until the moment you walked out the door, you were receiving plenty of attention.
