Augies is definitely worth a visit....

Augies is definitely worth a visit. I showed up with a friend at 7 pm on a Monday. The cover charge was reasonable (I can't remember the exact number, but it was definitely under $10). The beer prices were reasonable for a strip club ($7 for a bottle of Heineken).

The physical layout of the club was its main attraction for me. The space is small with an old hardwood floor. The area near the bar is well lit (a must for me since I dislike stumbling around in the dark). There was seating at the bar, at some tables in the back and, of course, near the stage. The stage itself had two poles. Half of the time it was occupied by two dancers, and the other half it had only one dancer. If you're looking for a cavernous club with booths and loud music, this is not a place for you, but if you prefer a more intimate and laid back setting, you will like Augies.

The dancers themselves were excellent. They were all young and had great bodies. Since Augies serves alcohol, it's topless only, but the dancers make up for it in quality. With a small tip, they performed lots of pole work and ass-shaking but no face-in-tits action, which is what I prefer. The dancers themselves were very sweet. They smiled and laughed in between songs and generally appeared to be having a good time. One was even exceptionally understanding when I accidentally put a $50 bill near the stage, realized my mistake, and had to replace it with a more appropriate denomination.
