I travel for a living and get to SD quite a bit, so figured I would try this place out, as I had heard great things about it. Got there and it looked like a barn, I decided you can't judge a book by its cover, so I ventured to the bar next door. Pretty typical sports bar, seemed ok, food was bar food, drink prices were more expensive than Arizona, but hey, it's California. After a couple drinks I went to head to lap dance land, the bartender hooked me up with some passes for money off the cover, I think he said it was 18 bucks and that pass would knock off 10 bucks in cover.

Hit the front door and it looked much better inside, not like the Vegas style club they advertise, but nice. The door guy didn't really pay too much attention to me, he was more wrapped up talking with a hot lil' blonde (I don't blame him), but after waiting for a sec, he got to me. Lo- And - behold! The passes didn't work -that- night, the classic bait and switch, whatever, every club in Phoenix does it too.

Sat down and I was approached by a waitress, ordered a soda and watched the stage. Cute girls, but I hadn't sat down for a minute before they started to hound me for dances and "a dollar for my show". Now, I tip, but not if you beg, I want to give money to girls I like, not just as a tax for sitting in the building. I figured I would just go with the flow and caulk it up to an added door fee (which is nothing compared to Vegas). After about 20 minutes and 15 bucks later, I was approached by a smoking Mexican girl, I can't recall her name, but she had a tongue piercing and was short, I love short Latinas!! So I hoped the Strip club gods would smile on me with some good dances.
