I was at DITS about two...

I was at DITS about two weeks ago. It was my second time there & the first time was in November 2013, so this review is from a collective impression of the club (for lack of a better term). It isn't bad all in all, but DITS could use some improvements. Normally I don't recap things from other reviews, but one guy is still right: The management is not bringing their A-game.

The layout has already been described in a previous review. It is spacious, with two levels & plenty of seating. The ceiling is high, at least 15 feet up & probably more. That makes the club's sound system more effective, but apparently the management & DJ don't realize it because the music is too loud, even by strip club standards! If you become a regular patron of this place you'll probably lose your hearing fairly rapidly. The music itself is a mix...modern country, rap/hip-hop, a little classic rock every so often for the older White customers (like us!). There is a separate bar you can get to through a door through the back of the main area. I recommend it when you want to give your eardrums a rest.

One unusual feature is every so often, all the waitresses are called to the main stage & the DJ plays a song they all two-step to. It's a cute spectacle, what with the waitresses all wearing short skirts & cowgirl boots. More than once, though, I saw a customer (usually a female one) get on stage & join in. That, along with times where half the waitstaff is standing around talking with each other near the main entrance while the serious waitresses hustle to take care of a full room, shows the managers aren't keeping track.
