Been to hundreds of clubs in...

Been to hundreds of clubs in the US and overseas, but had never been to the infamous Flight Club. Heard so much about it. And I have to say..... I'm not a fan.

Over pretentious, just to be snobby, was the pervasive attitude of just about everyone I ran into during my evening. Mandatory valet at $7 a car - maybe on a busy weekend night. But not on a night that saw 4 inches of snow come down and 4 customers in the club. Fortunately, I just got in under the cover charge wire which starts at 7:00pm.

Then comes the "Sir you have to check your sweater because it has a zipper." Really? I left my coat in the car, and this dude wants me to take off my sweater and pay to have it checked. The bar is cold this wintry night, and I'm not hanging out in a t-shirt. I refused, and he finally relented saying that he "could make an exception this one time." Nice.
