Xpose is a new club which took over the failed Hotties club on Canyon Road. They completely gutted the old building and did a nice job remodeling both inside and outside. When you enter the bar is directly in front of you, two stages are to the left and the DJ booth at the end. The restrooms are to the right of the bar. There is plenty of stage seating and many tables & chairs filling the room. The private dance booths are the most interesting and posh I have seen in Portland. Each one is very large (maybe 6 by 10 feet) with large white couches on 3 sides and a thin white curtain closing it off from direct view. I think there were about 4 of these large booths all in a row. Each one could easily seat about 10 people, but they appear to be set up for 1-on-1 dances. The good: It's nicely decorated and looks modern, very clean, decent drink selection. The bad: The music volume was almost painful, the bathroom is still a tiny room with 1 toilet and 1 urinal, but the urinal is pinned between the sink and the door, so if somebody opens the door it would probably hit you. This night there were only 2 girls dancing, a cute blonde spinner and a larger girl who was too chunky to be dancing in my opinion. I got a couple dances from the cute blonde and it was fun, but not as good as some other PDX clubs. Overall a good experience and I'll go back to see if they have more girls dancing soon.
