Sunday night after enjoying the next best thing after sex - Football playoffs! - I headed over to the Foxxy Lady. I had never been to this club as it is located on 79th street one of the roughest streets in Miami. From the outside it looks like a scary club. I had passed it many times on the way to other strip clubs but always resisted going in based on the outside feel. I was playing poker the other night (my other major weakness) and one of the players was telling me about the club. This is strictly a black clientele club - most clubs in Miami are progressive and all are welcome - some not so much. My friend told me the atmosphere was cool at this club and I might be surprised with the club. So i decided to man up and check it out. Parking was excellent - a paved parking lot across from the club - seemed well lit and free (a plus in Miami). Front door employees were friendly and cover was only $5! I expected the club to be seedy inside - I was pleasantly surprised - wood floors and relatively speaking - seemed clean and well maintained. Nice set up of tvs to watch the games - decent size bar without about 20 girls working. I did not see any 9 or 10's but a good number of 7 to 8's and most seemed friendly. Table dances only $5 - dance on stage fully nude and the dancers were not shy. Bud lite $5 - nice pricing and all (dancers and bartenders) happy to take tips and seemed thankful. This is definitely a regulars club but I did not feel uncomfortable in any way. Another good thing about the club was song length was good and there was only one dj - instead of the two dj style which has become annoying in Miami clubs. Also the sound level was good and not over bearing as is often the case in Miami clubs. I enjoyed the full run of dancers on stage and then hooked up with a young petite dancer - had ten or so amazing dancers with her and tipped her $50 - she was well worth it. Overall, I would recommend this place for a laid back night - don't expect 10's but if you can handle that you should be well pleased. I will definitely be back.
