My friend and I had decided to go to LIC to visit Showpalace, but like fools we had not checked to make sure the place would be open. Not really wishing to make the trek back to Manhattan, we decided to try and kill some time here.

What a terrible mistake. Scandals is run down, with a day shift worth of dancers and staff to match. While there is a nice three tier dance area with a very large two sided bar, the seats are old and the lighting is terrible. (Not dark - terrible.)

Lap dances are in a little back area that looks like it was cobbled together from spare lumber.
