I went to Rock Za on...

I went to Rock Za on a Wednesday, busier than the usual Wednesday either due to University of Hawaii still being on break, or (less likely) due to tourists in town for the Sony Open golf event. I got there about 11 p.m. A ton of girls on the front stage as you entered, maybe six, while the other stage in the middle of the room had only one, lovely, haole girl. Good mix of ethnicities, including two of my favorite, stunning, Filipina girls and a slender Chinese girl. These girls certainly have personality and a sense of humor. I bought a drink for one of my all time favs and asked her why she had been MIA the last month. "I was on vacation, which probably saved you some money." Hee hee!

A couple of very sweet women in a hostess role only, but not at all pushy in terms of 'lady drinks.' Interesting (I find the dynamics of strip clubs fascinating) that several of the girls said that, while Fridays and Saturdays are far more crowded, that does not translate necessarily into better nights for them - 'there are lots more guys standing and watching on the weekends.' Anyway, RZ is a great club and recently I darken its doors at least every two weeks.
