This club used to be two...
This club used to be two separate clubs in the same building: Trixies Gold Room and the Knockout Sports Saloon. They have torn down the wall between them and made one large club and added a pizza kitchen as well. This is my first visit since the change even though it occurred long ago. This club has a fairly large, well lit parking lot and is easy to find; right on Preston, near Fern Valley Road. I arrived around 9:00 on a Saturday and I was assessed a cover charge (I think it was $8.00). The girl at the door immediately suggested I tip her a dollar. I was given a wrist band for reentry and went in to enjoy my evening. A long neck Bud Light at the bar was $4.50.
Even though they have physically joined the two clubs each side retains its original identity and style. The Knockout side still has HD TVs everywhere tuned to sports as well as pool tables, and darts in a casual mountain lodge setting. The Gold Room is much darker and has a more typical strip club feel. Both sides have a full bar and dancers. The Gold Room has the main stage and one smaller satellite stage. The Knockout side also has a satellite stage. The dancers would start on the main stage and after two songs they would head to the Knockout satellite stage for two songs. The stage dancing was okay and I was pleasantly surprised at the level of attention given to people who tipped stage side. These girls are very creative in taking your dollar bills. I will caution you that they are not shy about asking for multiple tips during one song when it is slow.
There were no really outstanding dancers there that night but they were all genuinely fun and sexy to hang out with; this is the most fun I have had in a Louisville club in a while. I will be returning.
