I visited Cristal six months ago...

I visited Cristal six months ago and absolutely loved it. Before heading up this weekend I read these reviews and thought the place had gone downhill. But I went anyway, and I'm glad I did. I arrived at about 8:00 Saturday night and the place was a little quiet, but it really picked up. Apparently all dancers who are coming have to arrive by 10pm, and when I left at 11 it was a full house- almost every table was occupied. Enough about busy/quiet. Every club has quiet and peak times. Cristal has the best stage show I've seen. The main stage is nice and big with a pole on either end and horseshoes around the stage. When it's busy there are often two dancers on the stage, and sometimes they dance together. Some of these girls do amazing things with the pole, getting swinging around it so fast, or climbing up into the ceiling, or hanging upside-down and doing situps. And they are really playful with customers who come up onstage to tip. And they really have a lot of fun with female customers when they tip. When it's not too busy you can buy a girl a drink and she'll sit with you and enjoy the show, the shots girls are really friendly too. A lot of these dancers are really nice, friendly people. The VIP area is also really good although they could use new couches already because the springs are poking through. Much better than the 'Downer where you might get wet if it's raining outside. This is my favorite club in the world but I might be going to the Sundowner during the early hours when Cristal is too quiet.
