La Mirage was a pretty good...

La Mirage was a pretty good club for Jacksonville. The cover on Friday night was $7 They do not have draft beer. Bottles were $3 each. Dancers ranged from about a 6 to a 9. The clientele was mostly Marine enlisted guys. There were quite a few girls there as customers and they were tipping the dancers more than the guys were.

Dances are $10 tableside and $25 private. They also had a half hour private for $195 and that included a bottle of champagne. There are multiple bouncers there. One is always monitoring the private dance area. In order to get a private dance, you must purchase a coupon from the waitress. It was a pain, especially if you decided that you wanted a second dance from a girl. Absolutely NO touching allowed during the dances. Some of the dancers were better than others.

Sam was a very fine dancer and an expert on the pole. She is currently the #2 pole dancer in all of NC. Her private dances are excellent too.
